The pain's been bad, life has been hectic (gee, maybe the two are related?) I've got Iritus in my left eye and have had since late August-early September and am a bit concerned about trying to clear it up and maybe save the sight in that eye. But I'm not typical...my eye isn't all red an nasty looking...as usual I just don't look sick. Good or bad? You look normal, so why can't you do it?
Believe me I think about it. I'm not saying that I want to be an amputee, or blind in a way people can tell, or anything like that. I guess I just wish people were more compassionate and less judgemental of other people. This blog gives me a bit of hope occasionally, when I get feeling down this way.
Love you all....from a puzzled goddess

Aw, sweetie! I'm sorry to hear about your iritis. Are you able to check out iritis.org? It sounds like they have a support system that has folks who will totally understand what you're going through.
Hang in there. I love you!
I love the internet! Yeah, I checked out Iritus.org after I finally got a diagnosis in January. (After having it get worse and worse from August on) And then discovered why the doctor, who had been so laid back and unconcerned about an eye I haven't been able to see out of for months wanted to see me again after eye drops in 1 week. It's still bad, and I may fight it the rest of my life, but the tiny polka dot effect I was getting is receding with the meds, which according to Iritus.org is a very good thing. ;)
